Part A is one of the most important forms to submit. It is self explanatory but there are a couple of areas which might need some clarification.

Under the heading of PROGRAM, you should list Computer Engineering (ECM), Computer Science (CIS), Electrical Engineering (EAP), or Systems and Control (ESY).

Under the heading of FIELD OF STUDY, we recommend that you be more specific. Put your main interest of study, such as MEMS, Data-mining, Bioinformatics, etc. This will help the faculty understand your special interest when doing the review.

Under the heading GPA, it is best to have a score listed. If your country uses a percentage system please put that score in for the GPA. You can also convert your percentage score to a GPA using this formula:

   4 x <your percent score> / 85 = GPA
